  • October 2025: Medalla de la División de Partículas y Campos 2024 de la Sociedad Mexicana de Física. "Por su papel pionero en el establecimiento de la física experimental de altas energías en México, liderando la participación nacional en los experimentos SELEX (Fermilab E781), CKM (Fermilab) y NA62 (CERN). Su impulso a la formación de recursos humanos, el desarrollo de instrumentación de frontera y la creación del grupo de física experimental de partículas en San Luis Potosí han sido determinantes para consolidar esta área en nuestro país".
    Medal of the Division of Particles and Fields of the Mexican Physical Society "For his pioneering role in establishing experimental high-energy physics in Mexico, leading the nation's participation in the SELEX (Fermilab E781), CKM (Fermilab), and NA62 (CERN) experiments.
