The group exploits the techniques of laser cooling to confine the atoms and reduce their temperature way below 1 mK. This cold and confined sample provides the ideal environment for several studies of atomic physics. Some of the research interests include:
- Atomic interferometry and gravimetry
Our group form the Quantum Sensors Unit of the National Laboratory of Quantum Matter and it is part of the Gravico colaboration.
