Atomic physics in cold gases
Eduardo Gomez

Frequency lock of multiple lasers to an optical cavity (September, 2018)

The group exploits the techniques of laser cooling to confine the atoms and reduce their temperature way below 1 mK. This cold and confined sample provides the ideal environment for several studies of atomic physics. Some of the research interests include:

       - Interactions between atoms and surfaces
       - Fundamental symmetries
       - Atomic interferometry and gravimetry

Our group form the Quantum Sensors Unit of the National Laboratory of Quantum Matter
